Job Scam: Norden United Ltd

If past experience is anything to go by, we can expect quite a few job offers from Norden United Ltd this month. They will look suspiciously similar to all the other job offers I've reported here recently, and all be illegal money mule jobs. The first of these arrived a couple of days ago, and I would have reported it sooner, but I had a backlog of work to clear.

  1. Just out of curiousity, has anyone actually said yes to any of these money mule jobs, had the cash hit their account, and then just kept the money?

  2. I've corresponded with a few people who have become involved, then realised that it's a scam. Consequently, they have received money and not forwarded it. On receipt of such a transaction, you should notify your bank that it is suspicious. If you don't notify them, they will probably notice that the transaction is suspicious anyway, suspect that you are a scammer yourself, and freeze your account pending investigation. In either case, the money is returned to its original owner.

  3. In my experience this scam is just downright theft. They send you a money order which goes throgh your bank account, it would appear normally. You go ahead and send the money where requested. Meanwhile your bank bounces the original money order, but pays out on the money you sent. Depending on your personal wealth you are then out the amount sent or in pretty heavy overdraft. The original money order sent to you is usually sent via Western Union

  4. I personally can not wait to have them respond to my information that I have sent. I fish these sorts all the time, I spin them down dead ends with just enough info to get them to waste time and effort on me...Ha Ha Ha I do it for the laughs. 5. has anyone looked at their website - seems these guys do absolutely everything. Described in mumbo jumbo pseudo-business B**lock speak, with a selection of sterile pics to match, they leave you with a strong feeling that these guys are based in a warehouse in Amsterdam, or maybe Nigeria. Oh and they have someone called Tomas Eriksson, who's role is "Head Manager" (not a role I'm very familiar with!)
