News: FTC (USA) takes action against some "Work at Home" scammers

The good news is that some legal action is being taken against these scammers: the FTC has just announced seven new cases being brought against businesses using allegedly deceptive and illegal techniques to sell "job opportunities" of various sorts. You can read the FTC press release, or a nice summary at Sunbelt blog.
